Backlinks Types Significance in SEO
Backlinks
are so much essential because it indicates the popularity of that site. Search
engines like Google gave importance to those sites that have more backlinks and
considered them a more relevant site than the others in a search query. There
are two categories of backlinks that play significant role in SEO.
Outbound Links
If there is a link of
other site in your site it is called outbound link.
Inbound links or backlinks
If there is a link of
your site in someone site then it is called inbound or back link. Back links
play an imperative role in search engine optimization (SEO).
When
a search engine searches any site then it does not only take into account the
number of backlinks but also check the relevancy of information to the keyword
and the quality of the backlinks. How you can determine the quality? A search
engine searches the contents of the site and also checks your links to the
other sites. If your site information is related to that site in which you
created a link then the backlinks are considered as more relevant and if not
then it was considered as less relevant. Higher the relevancy of your
information to that site, greater will be the quality of your backlinks.
It is very difficult
to find those site that give permission of submission of your link to their
site that’s why it is so much easy to modify your website pages for the SEO
purpose. The criteria of quality of backlinks are now getting tougher by the
search engines. Also there are some unethical website that put their backlinks
on the pages in a deceiving way that are called as hidden links whose main
purpose is to get someone to click on these pages unconsciously. Such pages are
called link farms. When someone put their links in this way then it is
unnoticed by the search engine and also your website could be blocked.
Keywords in Backlinks
When
you post a link and if it contains a keyword which is in the hyperlink then it
is called anchor text. Anchor text also plays an important role in SEO. For
instance if you have a keyword like as I mentioned before ‘food cooking’ in a
backlink on someone website then you have more chances to get higher ranking in
search engine. It is a great importance of using keywords in backlinks rather
than using texts ‘click here’ and a search engine will give you more
preference.
Quality Backlinks
If you have so much backlinks associated to your website then you have to add those that are best in quality as I told you before. The backlinks that are good in quality are always appreciated.
Backlinks in Directories of Other Sites
If
you are seriously interested in displaying your websites in the list or
directory of other sites such as yahoo, Google etc then you have to post some
backlinks that are in good quality for free so these links will be searched by
search engines and the people visited these sites. There are some drawbacks of
these sites that you have to wait for a prolonged time at least for one month
to get listed in your own choice of category.
Backlinks From Forums
It
is also good to post your quality backlinks to the forums to get yourself in
their database. A search engine categorize these forums but it was sometime
difficult for the person to submit those backlinks in their forums because of
some policies and if the information of that backlink is not valid to that
forum then the administrator will delete the se posts and there will be a rare
chance that the administrator will banned your backlink in the search engines
and posting these backlinks to other forums or on any other site will become
useless. If administrators delete your post once then stop trying to post
backlinks in that forum.
Backlinks From RSS Feed
RSS
feed also plays an important role in building backlinks. The owner of the
website gave permission for the RSS feed and you will enter your backlink in it
so that the visitors will come to your website through backlink where the
viewers will see the main heading that contain the abstract in the owner
site.
Backlinks From Associated Sites
You
can also use the programs that are associated with other site for the building
of your backlinks but they are expensive to use because they get some
commissions of about 10 to 30% from the person and if you have one of it then
start building your backlinks.
Backlinks From News Releasing Sites
It
is also good to post your backlinks in the new releasing news sites but it will
take some cost and some of them are also free. If there is some news written on
these sites and if they have a backlink of your site then I will increase your
SEO but it is somehow complicated if your site does not contain any news so it
is not a better way to make backlinks in news releasing websites.
Links to be Avoided
Many
of the web makers agreed upon exchanging of links between them. There are many
links that are not valid according to the category of that site so the search
engine will not count these backlinks but the outbound links were still
counted. So many of the people fall down in the list of Google search engine
because of the irrelevancy of the backlink and will be diminished from the list
of search engine.
There
should be a good truthful website to which you are linked with because Google
does not only see how much that site was popular but also check how much honest
that site is.
Most
of the web makers have more than one websites and sometimes they are linked
together and sometimes they are unlinked. If they are linked together with one
IP address then a Google search engine thinks that a person is trying to fool
me so try to avoid it. The only way your SEO will not hurt is to interlink your
website with one or two links with the same IP address.
